അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: പ്രഭോ! ഇവന് വലിയ വൃദ്ധനായ പിതാവുണ്ട്. അതിനാല് ഇവന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് ഞങ്ങളില് ഒരാളെ പിടിച്ച് വെക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും താങ്കളെ ഞങ്ങള് കാണുന്നത് സദ്വൃത്തരില്പെട്ട ഒരാളായിട്ടാണ്.(78)
(78) قَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الْعَزِيزُ إِنَّ لَهُ أَبًا شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا فَخُذْ أَحَدَنَا مَكَانَهُ ۖ إِنَّا نَرَاكَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
They said: "O ruler of the land! Verily, he has an old father (who will grieve for him); so take one of us in his place. Indeed we think that you are one of the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112)."(78)
