നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവെ (മാത്രം) ആരാധിക്കുക എന്ന ദൌത്യവുമായി ഥമൂദ് സമുദായത്തിലേക്ക് അവരുടെ സഹോദരനായ സ്വാലിഹിനെയും നാം അയക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. അപ്പോഴതാ അവര് അന്യോന്യം വഴക്കടിക്കുന്ന രണ്ട് കക്ഷികളായിത്തീരുന്നു.(45)
(45) وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
And indeed We sent to Thamud their brother Salih (Saleh), saying: "Worship Allah (Alone and none else). Then look! They became two parties (believers and disbelievers) quarreling with each other."(45)
