വേദക്കാരേ, ദൈവദൂതന്മാര് വരാതെ ഒരു ഇടവേള കഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് (കാര്യങ്ങള്) വിവരിച്ചുതന്നു കൊണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന് ഇതാ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് ഒരു സന്തോഷവാര്ത്തക്കാരനോ, താക്കീതുകാരനോ വന്നില്ല എന്ന് നിങ്ങള് പറയാതിരിക്കാന് വേണ്ടിയാണിത്. അതെ, നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുകയും, താക്കീത് നല്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ആള് (ഇതാ) വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു ഏത് കാര്യത്തിനും കഴിവുള്ളവനത്രെ.(19)
(19) يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلَىٰ فَتْرَةٍ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ أَنْ تَقُولُوا مَا جَاءَنَا مِنْ بَشِيرٍ وَلَا نَذِيرٍ ۖ فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بَشِيرٌ وَنَذِيرٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad SAW) making (things) clear unto you, after a break in (the series of) Messengers, lest you say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner." But now has come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner. And Allah is Able to do all things.(19)
