അനന്തരം ആദം തന്റെരക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല് നിന്ന് ചില വചനങ്ങള് സ്വീകരിച്ചു. (ആ വചനങ്ങള് മുഖേന പശ്ചാത്തപിച്ച) ആദമിന് അല്ലാഹു പാപമോചനം നല്കി. അവന് പശ്ചാത്താപം ഏറെ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമത്രെ.(37)
(37) فَتَلَقَّىٰ آدَمُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ كَلِمَاتٍ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.(37)
