എന്നാല് പിശാച് അവരെ അതില് നിന്ന് വ്യതിചലിപ്പിച്ചു. അവര് ഇരുവരും അനുഭവിച്ചിരുന്നതില് (സൌഭാഗ്യം) നിന്ന് അവരെ പുറം തള്ളുകയും ചെയ്തു. നാം (അവരോട്) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകൂ. നിങ്ങളില് ചിലര് ചിലര്ക്ക് ശത്രുക്കളാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഭൂമിയില് ഒരു നിശ്ചിത കാലം വരേക്കും വാസസ്ഥലവും ജീവിതവിഭവങ്ങളുമുണ്ടായിരിക്കും.(36)
(36) فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُوا بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."(36)
