അല്ലാഹുവോട് മാത്രം പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല് നിങ്ങള് അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും, അവനോട് പങ്കാളികള് കൂട്ടിചേര്ക്കപ്പെട്ടാല് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നത് നിമിത്തമത്രെ അത്. എന്നാല് (ഇന്ന്) വിധികല്പിക്കാനുള്ള അധികാരം ഉന്നതനും മഹാനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിനാകുന്നു.(12)
(12) ذَٰلِكُمْ بِأَنَّهُ إِذَا دُعِيَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ كَفَرْتُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يُشْرَكْ بِهِ تُؤْمِنُوا ۚ فَالْحُكْمُ لِلَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْكَبِيرِ
(It will be said): "This is because, when Allah Alone was invoked (in worship, etc.) you disbelieved, but when partners were joined to Him, you believed! So the judgement is only with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great!"(12)
