അവന് (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാല് നീ പോന്ന ശേഷം നിന്റെ ജനതയെ നാം പരീക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. സാമിരി അവരെ വഴിതെറ്റിച്ച് കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.(85)
(85) قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ السَّامِرِيُّ
(Allah) said: "Verily! We have tried your people in your absence, and As-Samiri has led them astray."(85)
