വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില് ഇസ്മാഈലിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരം നീ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം വാഗ്ദാനം പാലിക്കുന്നവനായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ദൂതനും പ്രവാചകനുമായിരുന്നു.(54)
(54) وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًا نَبِيًّا
And mention in the Book (the Quran) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet.(54)
