അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് ഏഴുകൊല്ലം തുടര്ച്ചയായി കൃഷി ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങള് കൊയ്തെടുത്തതില് നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഭക്ഷിക്കുവാന് അല്പം ഒഴിച്ച് ബാക്കി അതിന്റെ കതിരില് തന്നെ വിട്ടേക്കുക.(47)
(47) قَالَ تَزْرَعُونَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبًا فَمَا حَصَدْتُمْ فَذَرُوهُ فِي سُنْبُلِهِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ
[(Yusuf (Joseph)] said: "For seven consecutive years, you shall sow as usual and that (the harvest) which you reap you shall leave in ears, (all) - except a little of it which you may eat.(47)
