അതുപോലെ തന്നെ ബഹുദൈവവാദികളില്പെട്ട പലര്ക്കും സ്വന്തം മക്കളെ കൊല്ലുന്നത് അവര് പങ്കാളികളാക്കിയ ദൈവങ്ങള് ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവരെ നാശത്തില് പെടുത്തുകയും, അവര്ക്ക് അവരുടെ മതം തിരിച്ചറിയാന് പറ്റാതാക്കുകയുമാണ് അതുകൊണ്ടുണ്ടായിത്തീരുന്നത്. അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കില് അവരത് ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നില്ല. അതിനാല് അവര് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതുമായി അവരെ വിട്ടേക്കുക.(137)
(137) وَكَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَ لِكَثِيرٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَتْلَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ شُرَكَاؤُهُمْ لِيُرْدُوهُمْ وَلِيَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْهِمْ دِينَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ
And so to many of the Mushrikun (polytheists - see V. 2:105) their (Allah's so-called) "partners" have made fair-seeming the killing of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction and cause confusion in their religion. And if Allah had willed they would not have done so. So leave them alone with their fabrications.(137)
