എന്നിട്ട് അവര് കരാര് ലംഘിച്ചതിനാലും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള് നിഷേധിച്ചതിനാലും, അന്യായമായി പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയതിനാലും, തങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകള് അടഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുകയാണ് എന്ന് അവര് പറഞ്ഞതിനാലും (അവര് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.) തന്നെയുമല്ല, അവരുടെ സത്യനിഷേധം കാരണമായി അല്ലാഹു ആ മനസ്സുകളുടെ മേല് മുദ്രകുത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ആകയാല് ചുരുക്കത്തിലല്ലാതെ അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയില്ല.(155)
(155) فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ مِيثَاقَهُمْ وَكُفْرِهِمْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَقَتْلِهِمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَقَوْلِهِمْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ ۚ بَلْ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
Because of their breaking the covenant, and of their rejecting the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, and of their killing the Prophets unjustly, and of their saying: "Our hearts are wrapped (with coverings, i.e. we do not understand what the Messengers say)" - nay, Allah has set a seal upon their hearts because of their disbelief, so they believe not but a little.(155)
