നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്ന് വല്ല അനുഗ്രഹവും വന്നുകിട്ടുകയാണെങ്കിലോ, നിങ്ങളും അവനും തമ്മില് യാതൊരു സ്നേഹബന്ധവുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല എന്ന മട്ടില് അവന് പറയും; (ഹാ കഷ്ടമായി!) ഞാന് അവരുടെ കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കില് എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനെ. എങ്കില് എനിക്കൊരു വലിയ നേട്ടം നേടിയെടുക്കാമായിരുന്നു.(73)
(73) وَلَئِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ فَضْلٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ مَوَدَّةٌ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ مَعَهُمْ فَأَفُوزَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
But if a bounty (victory and booty) comes to you from Allah, he would surely say - as if there had never been ties of affection between you and him - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; then I would have achieved a great success (a good share of booty)."(73)
