നാം (മൂസായെ) വിളിച്ച സമയത്ത് ആ പര്വ്വതത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തില് നീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുമില്ല. പക്ഷെ, നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യത്താല് (ഇതെല്ലാം അറിയിച്ച് തരികയാകുന്നു.) നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരനും വന്നിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജനതയ്ക്ക് നീ താക്കീത് നല്കുവാന് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ ഇത്. അവര് ആലോചിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയേക്കാം.(46)
(46) وَمَا كُنْتَ بِجَانِبِ الطُّورِ إِذْ نَادَيْنَا وَلَٰكِنْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَبِّكَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَا أَتَاهُمْ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
And you (O Muhammad SAW) were not at the side of the Tur (Mount) when We did call, [it is said that Allah called the followers of Muhammad SAW, and they answered His Call, or that Allah called Musa (Moses)]. But (you are sent) as a mercy from your Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no warner had come before you, in order that they may remember or receive admonition.
