അദ്ദേഹം (മൂസാ) പറഞ്ഞു; ഞാനും താങ്കളും തമ്മിലുള്ള നിശ്ചയം അതു തന്നെ. ഈ രണ്ട് അവധികളില് ഏത് ഞാന് നിറവേറ്റിയാലും എന്നോട് വിരോധമുണ്ടാകരുത്. നാം പറയുന്നതിന് അല്ലാഹു സാക്ഷിയാകുന്നു.(28)
(28) قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ ۖ أَيَّمَا الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَيَّ ۖ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ
He [Musa (Moses)] said: "That (is settled) between me and you whichever of the two terms I fulfill, there will be no injustice to me, and Allah is Surety over what we say."(28)
