അവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് നാം എത്രയോ തലമുറകളെ നശിപ്പിച്ച് കളഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന വസ്തുത അവര്ക്ക് മാര്ഗദര്ശകമായിട്ടില്ലേ ? അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളില് കൂടി ഇവര് സഞ്ചരിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാര്ക്ക് തീര്ച്ചയായും അതില് ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്.(128)
(128) أَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي النُّهَىٰ
Is it not a guidance for them (to know) how many generations We have destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they walk? Verily, in this are signs indeed for men of understanding.(128)
