സത്യവിശ്വാസികള് ആകമാനം (യുദ്ധത്തിന്ന്) പുറപ്പെടാവതല്ല. എന്നാല് അവരിലെ ഓരോ വിഭാഗത്തില് നിന്നും ഓരോ സംഘം പുറപ്പെട്ട് പോയിക്കൂടേ ? എങ്കില് (ബാക്കിയുള്ളവര്ക്ക് നബിയോടൊപ്പം നിന്ന്) മതകാര്യങ്ങളില് ജ്ഞാനം നേടുവാനും തങ്ങളുടെ ആളുകള് (യുദ്ധരംഗത്ത് നിന്ന്) അവരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുവന്നാല് അവര്ക്ക് താക്കീത് നല്കുവാനും കഴിയുമല്ലോ? അവര് സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചേക്കാം.(122)
(122) ۞ وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنْفِرُوا كَافَّةً ۚ فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِنْهُمْ طَائِفَةٌ لِيَتَفَقَّهُوا فِي الدِّينِ وَلِيُنْذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ
And it is not (proper) for the believers to go out to fight (Jihad) all together. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may get instructions in (Islamic) religion, and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware (of evil).(122)
