അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദൂതനായ, മര്യമിന്റെ മകന് മസീഹ് ഈസായെ ഞങ്ങള് കോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നവര് പറഞ്ഞതിനാലും (അവര് ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.) വാസ്തവത്തില് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അവര് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുമില്ല, ക്രൂശിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല. പക്ഷെ (യാഥാര്ത്ഥ്യം) അവര്ക്ക് തിരിച്ചറിയാതാവുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ (ഈസായുടെ) കാര്യത്തില് ഭിന്നിച്ചവര് അതിനെപ്പറ്റി സംശയത്തില് തന്നെയാകുന്നു. ഊഹാപോഹത്തെ പിന്തുടരുന്നതല്ലാതെ അവര്ക്ക് അക്കാര്യത്തെപ്പറ്റി യാതൊരു അറിവുമില്ല. ഉറപ്പായും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അവര് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല.(157)
(157) وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَٰكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ ۚ مَا لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا
And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]:(157)
