അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരെ മരിച്ച് പോയവരായി നീ ഗണിക്കരുത്. എന്നാല് അവര് അവരുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരാണ്. അവര്ക്ക് ഉപജീവനം നല്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.(169)
(169) وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.(169)
