തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ വാഗ്ദാനം സത്യമാണ്. ആ അന്ത്യസമയമാകട്ടെ അതിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് യാതൊരു സംശയവുമില്ല എന്ന് പറയപ്പെട്ടാല് നിങ്ങള് പറയും: എന്താണ് അന്ത്യസമയമെന്ന് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കറിഞ്ഞ് കൂടാ. ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു തരം ഊഹം മാത്രമാണുള്ളത്. ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു ഉറപ്പുമില്ല.(32)
(32) وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُمْ مَا نَدْرِي مَا السَّاعَةُ إِنْ نَظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ
And when it was said: "Verily! Allah's Promise is the truth, and there is no doubt about the coming of the Hour," you said; "We know not what is the Hour, we do not think it but as a conjecture, and we have no firm convincing belief (therein)."(32)
