ഇക്കൂട്ടര് കുറ്റവാളികളായ ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗമാണെന്നതിനാല് അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ വിളിച്ച് (സഹായത്തിനായി) പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.(22)
(22) فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ مُجْرِمُونَ
(But they were aggressive), so he [Musa (Moses)] called upon his Lord (saying): "These are indeed the people who are Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.)."(22)
