പരമകാരുണികന് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില് ഞങ്ങള് അവരെ (മലക്കുകളെ) ആരാധിക്കുമായിരുന്നില്ല. എന്ന് അവര് പറയുകയും ചെയ്യും. അവര്ക്ക് അതിനെ പറ്റി യാതൊരു അറിവുമില്ല. അവര് ഊഹിച്ച് പറയുക മാത്രമാകുന്നു.(20)
(20) وَقَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَاهُمْ ۗ مَا لَهُمْ بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
And they said: "If it had been the Will of the Most Beneficent (Allah), we should not have worshipped them (false deities)." They have no knowledge whatsoever of that. They do nothing but lie!(20)
