അല്ലാഹു ഇതാ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ ഉപമയായി എടുത്തുകാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പരസ്പരം വഴക്കടിക്കുന്ന ഏതാനും പങ്കുകാരാണ് അവന്റെ യജമാനന്മാര്. ഒരു യജമാനന് മാത്രം കീഴ്പെടേണ്ടവനായ മറ്റൊരാളെയും (ഉപമയായി എടുത്തുകാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.) ഉപമയില് ഇവര് രണ്ടുപേരും ഒരുപോലെയാകുമോ? അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി. പക്ഷെ അവരില് അധികപേരും അറിയുന്നില്ല.(29)
(29) ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَاءُ مُتَشَاكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ۚ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Allah puts forth a similitude: a (slave) man belonging to many partners (like those who worship others along with Allah) disputing with one another, and a (slave) man belonging entirely to one master, (like those who worship Allah Alone). Are those two equal in comparison? All the praises and thanks be to Allah! But most of them know not.(29)
