അല്ലാഹു അല്ലാതെ ഒരു ദൈവവുമില്ല എന്ന് അവരോട് പറയപ്പെട്ടാല് അവര് അഹങ്കാരം നടിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.(35)
(35) إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it).(35)
