മലക്കുകള് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക: മര്യമേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു നിനക്ക് അവന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു വചനത്തെപ്പറ്റി സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നു. അവന്റെ പേര് മര്യമിന്റെ മകന് മസീഹ് ഈസാ എന്നാകുന്നു. അവന് ഇഹത്തിലും പരത്തിലും മഹത്വമുള്ളവനും സാമീപ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ചവരില് പെട്ടവനുമായിരിക്കും.(45)
(45) إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
(Remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word ["Be!" - and he was! i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary)] from Him, his name will be the Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), held in honour in this world and in the Hereafter, and will be one of those who are near to Allah."(45)
