അല്ലാഹുവോടൊപ്പം വേറെ യാതൊരു ദൈവത്തെയും നീ വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യരുത്. അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല. അവന്റെ തിരുമുഖം ഒഴികെ എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കളും നാശമടയുന്നതാണ്. അവന്നുള്ളതാണ് വിധികര്ത്തൃത്വം. അവങ്കലേക്ക് തന്നെ നിങ്ങള് മടക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.(88)
(88) وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۘ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ ۚ لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
And invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). Everything will perish save His Face. His is the Decision, and to Him you (all) shall be returned.(88)
