അവനും അവന്റെ സൈന്യങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയില് അന്യായമായി അഹങ്കരിക്കുകയും, നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് അവര് മടക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ലെന്ന് അവര് വിചാരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.(39)
(39) وَاسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُونَ
And he and his hosts were arrogant in the land, without right, and they thought that they would never return to Us.(39)
