എന്റെ ഉല്ബോധനത്തെ വിട്ട് വല്ലവനും തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന്ന് ഇടുങ്ങിയ ഒരു ജീവിതമാണുണ്ടായിരിക്കുക. ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിന്റെ നാളില് അവനെ നാം അന്ധനായ നിലയില് എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നതുമാണ്.(124)
(124) وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ
"But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Quran nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection."(124)
