നീ അവര്ക്ക് ഒരു ഉപമ വിവരിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുക. രണ്ട് പുരുഷന്മാര്. അവരില് ഒരാള്ക്ക് നാം രണ്ട് മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങള് നല്കി. അവയെ (തോട്ടങ്ങളെ) നാം ഈന്തപ്പനകൊണ്ട് വലയം ചെയ്തു. അവയ്ക്കിടയില് (തോട്ടങ്ങള്ക്കിടയില്) ധാന്യകൃഷിയിടവും നാം നല്കി.(32)
(32) ۞ وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًا
And put forward to them the example of two men; unto one of them We had given two gardens of grapes, and We had surrounded both with date-palms; and had put between them green crops (cultivated fields etc.).(32)
