(നബിയേ,) പറയുക: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിന്റെ ഖജനാവുകള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലായിരുന്നെങ്കില് ചെലവഴിച്ച് തീര്ന്ന് പോകുമെന്ന് ഭയന്ന് നിങ്ങള് പിശുക്കിപ്പിടിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു. മനുഷ്യന് കടുത്ത ലുബ്ധനാകുന്നു.(100)
(100) قُلْ لَوْ أَنْتُمْ تَمْلِكُونَ خَزَائِنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّي إِذًا لَأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْإِنْفَاقِ ۚ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ قَتُورًا
Say (to the disbelievers): "If you possessed the treasure of the Mercy of my Lord (wealth, money, provision, etc.), then you would surely hold back (from spending) for fear of (being exhausted), and man is ever miserly!"(100)
