ഇബ്രാഹീം ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.) എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ ഈ നാടിനെ (മക്കയെ) നിര്ഭയത്വമുള്ളതാക്കുകയും, എന്നെയും എന്റെ മക്കളെയും ഞങ്ങള് വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്ക്ക് ആരാധന നടത്തുന്നതില് നിന്ന് അകറ്റി നിര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ.(35)
(35) وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَنْ نَعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ
And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols.(35)
