അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് രാജാവിന്റെ അളവുപാത്രം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അത് കൊണ്ട് വന്ന് തരുന്നവന് ഒരു ഒട്ടകത്തിന് വഹിക്കാവുന്നത് (ധാന്യം) നല്കുന്നതാണ്. ഞാനത് ഏറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു.(72)
(72) قَالُوا نَفْقِدُ صُوَاعَ الْمَلِكِ وَلِمَنْ جَاءَ بِهِ حِمْلُ بَعِيرٍ وَأَنَا بِهِ زَعِيمٌ
They said: "We have missed the (golden) bowl of the king and for him who produces it is (the reward of) a camel load; I will be bound by it."(72)
