യൂസുഫ് പറഞ്ഞു: അവളാണ് എന്നെ വശീകരിക്കുവാന് ശ്രമം നടത്തിയത്. അവളുടെ കുടുംബത്തില് പെട്ട ഒരു സാക്ഷി ഇപ്രകാരം സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തി: അവന്റെ കുപ്പായം മുന്നില് നിന്നാണ് കീറിയിട്ടുള്ളതെങ്കില് അവള് സത്യമാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. അവനാകട്ടെ കളവ് പറയുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാണ്.(26)
(26) قَالَ هِيَ رَاوَدَتْنِي عَنْ نَفْسِي ۚ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا إِنْ كَانَ قَمِيصُهُ قُدَّ مِنْ قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ
He [Yusuf (Joseph)] said: "It was she that sought to seduce me," - and a witness of her household bore witness (saying): "If it be that his shirt is torn from the front, then her tale is true and he is a liar!(26)
