എന്നിട്ട് അവര് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹത്തെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പമുള്ളവരെയും നാം കപ്പലില് രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, അവരെ നാം (ഭൂമിയില്) പിന്ഗാമികളാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള് നിഷേധിച്ചുതള്ളിയവരെ നാം മുക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് നോക്കൂ; താക്കീത് നല്കപ്പെട്ട ആ വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ പര്യവസാനം എങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന്.(73)
(73) فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ خَلَائِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ
They denied him, but We delivered him, and those with him in the ship, and We made them generations replacing one after another, while We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). Then see what was the end of those who were warned.(73)
