(നബിയേ,) പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ രാത്രിയോ പകലോ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വന്നാല് (നിങ്ങളുടെ അവസ്ഥ എങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കുമെന്ന്) നിങ്ങള് ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? അതില് നിന്ന് ഏതു ശിക്ഷയ്ക്കായിരിക്കും കുറ്റവാളികള് ധൃതി കാണിക്കുന്നത്?(50)
(50) قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُهُ بَيَاتًا أَوْ نَهَارًا مَاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
Say: "Tell me, - if His torment should come to you by night or by day, - which portion thereof would the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals) hasten on?"(50)
