ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു അദ്ധ്യായം അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല് അവരില് ചിലര് മറ്റു ചിലരെ, നിങ്ങളെ ആരെങ്കിലും കാണുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്ന ചോദ്യഭാവത്തില് നോക്കും. എന്നിട്ട് അവര് തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യും അവര് (കാര്യം) ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്ത ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗമായതിനാല് അല്ലാഹു അവരുടെ മനസ്സുകളെ തിരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയാണ്.(127)
(127) وَإِذَا مَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ نَظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ هَلْ يَرَاكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوا ۚ صَرَفَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
And whenever there comes down a Surah (chapter from the Quran), they look at one another (saying): "Does any one see you?" Then they turn away. Allah has turned their hearts (from the light) because they are a people that understand not.(127)
