(സത്യനിഷേധികളേ,) നിങ്ങള് വിജയമായിരുന്നു തേടിയിരുന്നതെങ്കില് ആ വിജയമിതാ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് വിരമിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില് അതാണ് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഉത്തമം. നിങ്ങള് ആവര്ത്തിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലോ നാമും ആവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതാണ്. നിങ്ങളുടെ സംഘം എത്ര എണ്ണക്കൂടുതലുള്ളതാണെങ്കിലും അത് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഉപകരിക്കുകയേയില്ല. അല്ലാഹു സത്യവിശ്വാസികളുടെ കൂടെത്തന്നെയാണ്.(19)
(19) إِنْ تَسْتَفْتِحُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِنْ تَنْتَهُوا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تَعُودُوا نَعُدْ وَلَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
(O disbelievers) if you ask for a judgement, now has the judgement come unto you and if you cease (to do wrong), it will be better for you, and if you return (to the attack), so shall We return, and your forces will be of no avail to you, however numerous it be, and verily, Allah is with the believers.(19)
