അവര് വല്ല നീചവൃത്തിയും ചെയ്താല്, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കള് അതില് നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതായി ഞങ്ങള് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും, അല്ലാഹു ഞങ്ങളോട് കല്പിച്ചതാണത് എന്നുമാണവര് പറയുക. (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: നീചവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുവാന് അല്ലാഹു കല്പിക്കുകയേയില്ല. നിങ്ങള് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിവരമില്ലാത്തത് പറഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുകയാണോ?(28)
(28) وَإِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللَّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ ۖ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
And when they commit a Fahisha (evil deed, going round the Ka'bah in naked state, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.), they say: "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has commanded us of it." Say: "Nay, Allah never commands of Fahisha. Do you say of Allah what you know not?(28)
