അവരില് നിന്ന് മറച്ചു വെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന അവരുടെ ഗോപ്യസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് അവര്ക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാനായി പിശാച് അവര് ഇരുവരോടും ദുര്മന്ത്രണം നടത്തി. അവന് പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഈ വൃക്ഷത്തില് നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള് ഇരുവരെയും വിലക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത് നിങ്ങള് ഇരുവരും മലക്കുകളായിത്തീരുമെന്നത് കൊണ്ടോ, നിങ്ങള് ഇവിടെ നിത്യവാസികളായിത്തീരുമെന്നത് കൊണ്ടോ അല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുമല്ല.(20)
(20) فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ لِيُبْدِيَ لَهُمَا مَا وُورِيَ عَنْهُمَا مِنْ سَوْآتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَاكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ الْخَالِدِينَ
Then Shaitan (Satan) whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts (before); he said: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals."(20)
