ഭോഷത്വം കാരണമായി ഒരു വിവരവുമില്ലാതെ സ്വന്തം സന്താനങ്ങളെ കൊല്ലുകയും, തങ്ങള്ക്ക് അല്ലാഹു നല്കിയത് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് കള്ളം കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര് തീര്ച്ചയായും നഷ്ടത്തില് പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് പിഴച്ചു പോയി. അവര് നേര്മാര്ഗം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവരായില്ല.(140)
(140) قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ قَتَلُوا أَوْلَادَهُمْ سَفَهًا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَحَرَّمُوا مَا رَزَقَهُمُ اللَّهُ افْتِرَاءً عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ قَدْ ضَلُّوا وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَ
Indeed lost are they who have killed their children, from folly, without knowledge, and have forbidden that which Allah has provided for them, inventing a lie against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and were not guided.(140)
