നാം വേദവും വിജ്ഞാനവും പ്രവാചകത്വവും നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ളവരത്രെ അവര്. ഇനി ഇക്കൂട്ടര് അവയൊക്കെ നിഷേധിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില് അവയില് അവിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗത്തെ നാമത് ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്(89)
(89) أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ۚ فَإِنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَٰؤُلَاءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَيْسُوا بِهَا بِكَافِرِينَ
They are those whom We gave the Book, Al-Hukm (understanding of the religious laws), and Prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein (the Book, Al-Hukm and Prophethood), then, indeed We have entrusted it to a people (such as the Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW) who are not disbelievers therein.(89)
