പറയുക: ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവായ അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ ഞാന് രക്ഷാധികാരിയായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ? അവനാകട്ടെ ആഹാരം നല്കുന്നു. അവന്ന് ആഹാരം നല്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല. പറയുക: തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹുവിന് കീഴ്പെട്ടവരില് ഒന്നാമനായിരിക്കുവാനാണ് ഞാന് കല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്. നീ ഒരിക്കലും ബഹുദൈവാരാധകരില് പെട്ടുപോകരുത്.(14)
(14) قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ ۗ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ ۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Shall I take as a Wali (helper, protector, etc.) any other than Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? And it is He Who feeds but is not fed." Say: "Verily, I am commanded to be the first of those who submit themselves to Allah (as Muslims)." And be not you (O Muhammad SAW) of the Mushrikun [polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah].(14)
