നിങ്ങള്ക്കും യാത്രാസംഘങ്ങള്ക്കും ജീവിതവിഭവമായിക്കൊണ്ട് കടലിലെ വേട്ട ജന്തുക്കളും സമുദ്രാഹാരവും നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അനുവദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് ഇഹ്റാമിലായിരിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും കരയിലെ വേട്ട ജന്തുക്കള് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എതൊരുവനിലേക്കാണോ നിങ്ങള് ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടപ്പെടുന്നത് ആ അല്ലാഹുവെ നിങ്ങള് സൂക്ഷിക്കുക.(96)
(96) أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ ۖ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا ۗ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) water-game and its use for food - for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel, but forbidden is (the pursuit of) land-game as long as you are in a state of Ihram (for Hajj or 'Umrah). And fear Allah to Whom you shall be gathered back.(96)
