സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, മദ്യവും ചൂതാട്ടവും പ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും പ്രശ്നം വെച്ച് നോക്കാനുള്ള അമ്പുകളും പൈശാചികമായ മ്ലേച്ഛവൃത്തി മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് അതൊക്കെ വര്ജ്ജിക്കുക. നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിജയം പ്രാപിക്കാം.(90)
(90) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al-Ansab, and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful.(90)
