ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും ആധിപത്യം അല്ലാഹുവിനാണെന്ന് നിനക്കറിഞ്ഞ് കൂടെ? അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെ അവന് ശിക്ഷിക്കുകയും, അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് അവന് പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു ഏതു കാര്യത്തിനും കഴിവുള്ളവനത്രെ.(40)
(40) أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Know you not that to Allah (Alone) belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! He punishes whom He wills and He forgives whom He wills. And Allah is Able to do all things.(40)
