അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഓ; മൂസാ, പരാക്രമശാലികളായ ഒരു ജനതയാണ് അവിടെയുള്ളത്. അവര് അവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് പോകുന്നത് വരെ ഞങ്ങള് അവിടെ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയേയില്ല. അവര് അവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് പോകുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് (അവിടെ) പ്രവേശിച്ചുകൊള്ളാം.(22)
(22) قَالُوا يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَاخِلُونَ
They said: "O Musa (Moses)! In it (this holy land) are a people of great strength, and we shall never enter it, till they leave it; when they leave, then we will enter."(22)
