എന്നാല് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും, സല്കര്മ്മങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തത് ആരോ അവരുടെതായ പ്രതിഫലം അവര്ക്കവന് നിറവേറ്റികൊടുക്കുകയും, അവന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തില് നിന്ന് കൂടുതലായി അവര്ക്ക് നല്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. എന്നാല്, വൈമനസ്യം കാണിക്കുകയും, അഹങ്കരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരാരോ അവര്ക്കവന് വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ നല്കുന്നതാണ്. അല്ലാഹുവെ കൂടാതെ തങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു ഉറ്റമിത്രത്തെയോ സഹായിയെയോ അവര് കണ്ടെത്തുകയുമില്ല.(173)
(173) فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۖ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْتَنْكَفُوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فَيُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
So, as for those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards, and more out of His Bounty. But as for those who refuse His worship and were proud, He will punish them with a painful torment. And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper.(173)
