വേദക്കാരില് ആരും തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ (ഈസായുടെ) മരണത്തിനുമുമ്പ് അദ്ദേഹത്തില് വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവരായി ഉണ്ടാവുകയില്ല. ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിന്റെ നാളിലാകട്ടെ അദ്ദേഹം അവര്ക്കെതിരില് സാക്ഷിയാകുകയും ചെയ്യും.(159)
(159) وَإِنْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا
And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), but must believe in him ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allah and a human being], before his ['Iesa (Jesus) or a Jew's or a Christian's] death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he ['Iesa (Jesus)] will be a witness against them.(159)
