(ഒരിക്കല്) വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും, വീണ്ടും വിശ്വസിച്ചിട്ട് പിന്നെയും അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും, അനന്തരം അവിശ്വാസം കൂടിക്കൂടി വരുകയും ചെയ്തവരാരോ അവര്ക്ക് അല്ലാഹു പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയേ ഇല്ല. അവരെ അവന് നേര്വഴിയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നതുമല്ല.(137)
(137) إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ سَبِيلًا
Verily, those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe (again), and (again) disbelieve, and go on increasing in disbelief; Allah will not forgive them, nor guide them on the (Right) Way.(137)
