എങ്കില് അവന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളില് ചിലത് പൊറുത്തുതരികയും, നിര്ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു അവധി വരെ നിങ്ങളെ നീട്ടിയിടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അവധി വന്നാല് അത് നീട്ടി കൊടുക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല. നിങ്ങള് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കില്.(4)
(4) يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
"He (Allah) will forgive you of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Verily, the term of Allah when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but knew."(4)
