തീര്ച്ചയായും നൂഹിനെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് നാം അയച്ചു. നിന്റെ ജനതയ്ക്ക് വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ വരുന്നതിന്റെ മുമ്പ് അവര്ക്ക് താക്കീത് നല്കുക എന്ന് നിര്ദേശിച്ചു കൊണ്ട്(1)
(1) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنْذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Verily, We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people (Saying): "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful torment."(1)
